Concept

In tune with the city, the 43 rooms, including 13 suites, together with the Ottoman-inspired spa, offer a haven of peace and the promise of a unique and timeless stay.

From Il Caffè and its courtyard, to the Library Bar, with its 4000 books and a ceiling fresco by the artist Simon Buret, to the lobby, that manages to be both intimate and grand, the auditorium that houses the Palais Royal Restaurant Venezia, and of course the gilded swimming pool, with its view onto the Venetian skies and rooftops, every corner and detail embodies the desire to create an exceptional sense of hospitality. Some places have soul, others are merely beautiful. And at XXII Marzo de la Calle Larga, it is the Nolinski’s soul that resonates.

Yann Le Coadic & Alessandro Scotto

The unique partnership of Yann Le Coadic and Alessandro Scotto nurtures interior architecture that is redolent with dreamlike imagery. While one is more creative and the other more technical, their tastes are always in harmony in the projects they work on. The pair have been collaborating for over a decade, and their work stands out for its eclectic style, both for brands and the luxury hotel industry. It is marked by an intense interest in other people, the world around them, and their objectives for their own lives and careers. Le CoadicScotto’s understated style is rooted in fine materials and a refined sensibility. Their projects are marked by an unpretentious elegance and a well-honed refinement, creating a fresh and contemporary style that is beyond fashion and trends.

Amélie du Chalard

Gallery owner Amélie du Chalard shares EVOK’s belief that a place or a work of art should offer an intimate and transcendent experience. For the Nolinski Venezia, Amélie has curated a unique and eclectic collection of artworks, in complete harmony with the building, Venetian heritage, and the artistic vision of the interior design team Le Coadic & Sotto. Her selection has the unique and original flair that can only be inspired by a collector’s passion.

Anatole Desachy

Independent book dealer Anatole Desachy is a dedicated seeker of literary treasures. For Nolinski, he has brought together over 4,000 books, almost half of which – this is Venice, after all – are about art. From the history of Venice to the Renaissance, from the Biennale to the Peggy Guggenheim collection, from design to fashion, the library that lines the bar, filled with thousands of rare, hard to track down, and unpublished volumes, is worth the trip alone.

Fred Viktor and Jerry Bouthier

Fred Viktor and Jerry Bouthier, sound designers, editors, composers and producers of live performances with singular atmospheres, like to describe themselves as couturiers of sound. Sound that goes beyond familiar rhythms, turning into images that portray sound in a quite different way.
